 Promotion to the Post of Inspectors

  The DPC for promotion to the post of Inspectors for the R.Y. 2013-14 will be held early next weak as per information provided by the admn. The number of posts include the posts created on account of Cadre Restructuring.

 

 

IT Employees called for election duty - Issue taken  up with Pr.CCIT.

The Income Tax Employees Federation has written to the Pr.CCIT regarding the deployment of IT staff members for duty of  election related work like enrollment of voters, revision of voters list etc. As the employees are being called for the regular nature of election work and the IT department does not fall under the purview of Sec.13CC/Sec.29 of the Representation of People Act 1950/1951 we had requested the dept. to take up the issue with the concerned authorities. The work of the department is also adversely affected as already there is an acute shortage of staff. The matter has now been taken up by the Pr.CCIT with the Collector.
